Corporate governance is evolving.
Artificial intelligence is already transforming the work of boards and directors. Research from the Diligent Institute shows that 82% of surveyed board members are already using AI in their board work, yet 69% lack a formal policy governing the use of AI in the boardroom.
This creates new opportunities, but also new demands for responsible governance. At the same time, increasing regulatory requirements and geopolitical uncertainty are reshaping the environment in which boards operate – while the volume of information they need to assess and translate into informed, defensible decisions continues to grow.
What role will AI play in the future of corporate governance? What opportunities does it create for boards and directors? And how can organizations balance innovation with responsible governance?
Beyond the strategic implications for boards and directors, we will also explore how AI is changing the work of those who enable modern governance every day: from preparing and structuring complex board materials to ensuring secure information and decision-making processes and meeting growing expectations around transparency and accountability.
Join experienced board directors, governance experts and the Diligent Institute to discuss these questions. Gain insights from the latest research, practical discussions and real-world perspectives, and connect with fellow senior leaders navigating the future of corporate governance.
