Ian Crichton
Principle, Crichton and Associates

I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a member of AICD and have worked in the financial services industry for over 40 years. My first introduction into remuneration and employee share schemes (ESS) consulting occurred when I implemented the merger of Cullen, Egan and Dell (CED) and Noble Lowndes in the early 1980’s. From there I joined a group of other consultants (mostly ex-CED) in a business called RPC (Remuneration Planning Corporation). I left RPC in 2000 when the business was sold to Computershare (CPU). I established CRA Plan Managers (CRA) in late 2000 to replicate what we had been doing at RPC but focussed more on companies outside the ASX200. This proved a successful strategy and I sold CRA to BoardRoom in October 2011. In October 2014 I established Crichton & Associates (C+A). C+A consists of a small team specialising in all aspects of executive and Board remuneration, including incentives. .
